fee issues
Hi all,
There is alot of issue regarding fees here. Let me sort this out so that we are all clear with the issue.
In feb, we did say max is rm10. This is totally to cover cost of registration and the extra money we can do something nice after the event or we planned to do the certification ceremony in 2012. We didnt post anything yet because at that time, only one person who deciding and its not fair for us.
In july, we did say rm30 for adult and rm15 for children. This is to cover cost and giving charity to others. Rm15 for cost,rm15 for charity is for the adult fee and children is 5for registration and rm10for charity. We did mention also in our blog if u think this is not okay, u can just pay us rm15 for registration and donate how many u like.
In of our comment in facebook, its totally haywired as at that time, the person who replied was really busy and couldnt explain details like how we supposed to explain in the july cost.
Now to make it clearer, let me explain what the money are for.
1) registration fee usd 20 to hq for the whole event
2) promotion fee (flyers, printing in cyber cafe, design) rm500
3) refreshment during practice and during the event - we didnt doit yet cuz nobody came for the practice. We are doing it for the event surely.
4) postal to hq after event that include mailing all documents to hq in canada, picture, movies to be burn, that cost us last year rm90 bucks to send it via courier fedex. We are trying to find cheapest rate for this.
5) press conference fee. We need to do p.c that time but since nobody is paying, i cancelled this. At least we need a venue, a banners, a banting, refreshments for them tomake this happen. We are not earning that much yet to sponsor 100% for the event. The rest of the money that we have collected will be given to the charity and we will also will keep at least rm200 for future. We are thinking to celebrate our joy to michael jackson and i would like to register our committee to mjfc to get us notified as official michael jackson fanclub in malaysia.
We are sorry for not giving this earlier as we said, we are running this for only with 4hands helping. We are also quite tight w our schedule and this issue was totally forgotten as nobody complaint about how hard to get people to come for paid event.
Other country also are paying and i do think only few of us tell this in the blog. All event manager till now are questioning what are we doing with usd20 but i do understand that cuz ines is paying for everything including her staff to make this run. But she never tell us what are the registration fee is for about. I do hope you guys are clear wuth this and feel free to ask us anything via :
